The "real" Zoigl is brewed in only five towns: Windischeschenbach, Neuhaus, Falkenberg, Mitterteich, and Eslarn. There's still a communal brewery there.

Excursion tip: Zoigl cycle path
You can also follow the Zoigl trail by bike. From Mitterteich, the route first goes to Falkenberg and then through the wild and romantic Waldnaab Valley to Neuhaus and Windischeschenbach. Via Pfaffenreuth - Hutzlmühle - Denkenreuth, you reach Neustadt ad Waldnaab, then the towns of Weiden in der Oberpfalz and Pirk. Via Irchenrieth up to Leuchtenberg, Moosbach, and Pfrentschweiher, you finally reach the border market and fifth Zoigl town of Eslarn.
