Your way to the Steinwald Nature Park
Arriving by car
The nature reserve is easily accessible for holidaymakers. Just a few kilometres from the centre of Europe, you can reach us from north to south via the A93 Hof – Regensburg. The Exits Windischeschenbach, Falkenberg, Wiesau, Waldershof and Marktredwitz lead directly into the Stone Forest.
Distances
Von Regensburg und Nürnberg sind es jeweils circa 100 Kilometer, von Leipzig und Dresden etwa 200 Kilometer. Die Richard-Wagner-Stadt Bayreuth befindet sich ca. 40 km entfernt. An der Bundesstraße 22 zwischen Bayreuth und der Max-Reger-Stadt Weiden in der Oberpfalz liegen die Städte Erbendorf und Kemnath. Von der Mitte des Steinwalds aus sind es ungefähr 40 km bis ins Nachbarland Tschechien. Über den Grenzübergang Waldsassen/Eger (Cheb) auf der B299 gelangen Sie über die oben genannten Ausfahrten in unseren herrlichen Naturpark.
Anfahrt per ÖPNV
The Steinwald Forest is also easily accessible by train. You can get on and off at the train stations in Reuth bei Erbendorf, Immenreuth, Wiesau, Waldershof, and Neusorg. From there, you can take a taxi, the "Baxi" dial-a-bus, or a bus to your accommodation or various excursion destinations.

Bicycle & leisure bus
From May to October, the cycling and leisure buses will once again be rolling through the Tirschenreuth district. The Naabtal-Express and Grenzland-Express will comfortably take you to your destination and back home. You can find the current timetables here. here.
