FOREST ADVENTURE TRAIL FUCHSMÜHL
The Forest Adventure Trail leads from the forester's lodge in Fuchsmühl through a particularly charming landscape and awakens the spirit of discovery in young and old. Forest visitors must always do something at each of the eleven stations to access information: via viewing tubes, rotating columns, or similar. Children can find out which animal can jump as far as they do in the animal long jump or start their own watercourse using the Archimedes screw. Curiosity and a thirst for knowledge are definitely awakened along the 5-kilometer hike!

GHOST FOREST PULLENREUTH
Curious visitors are warmly welcome to the Witches' Forest! The enchanted Ghost Forest begins at the Harlachberg hiking car park near Pullenreuth. There, young hikers are greeted by a spiky wooden dragon. On the one-kilometer-long Ghost Trail, explorers of all ages will encounter various creatures from legends and traditions. Spiders also leave their web traps everywhere. A hungry snake that devours ghosts in the forest, as well as funny tree figures, hide in many corners.

SCHLEIFERERPFAD ARNOLDSREUTH
The 1.5-kilometer-long Glass Grinders' Trail is dedicated to the grinding and polishing of glass. During the walk, you'll learn a great deal about the region's glass and forest history, as well as the geology of the Stone Forest. The trail begins directly at the former glass grinder, which has housed an information center since 2011, and leads through the pristine nature of the Stone Forest. Children can have fun at the stream and the water wheel.
The Schleifererpfad can be easily connected to the Ghost Forest (1 km away).
Note: The small restaurant and the information center next door are only open on certain days and for groups on request. Opening hourswill be announced on the homepage of the Steinwaldia-Pullenreuth Society.

FANTASTIC CARP TRAIL KEMNATH
Everything revolves around fish on the Fantastic Carp Trail in Kemnath. The 2.4-kilometer trail showcases the 1,000-year history of carp farming in the region. Colorful fish sculptures by local artists transform the trail into a cultural and historical experience. Little ones can really let off steam at the playground in Seeleiten Park: Fish-themed play equipment invites them to climb, splash, and play in the sand. And if that's not enough, you can treat yourself to an ice cream in the historic old town!

FOREST ADVENTURE TRAIL SCHWEIMÜHLE
The forest adventure trail at the Schweinmühle holiday farm and campsite near Windischeschenbach is a delight for all the senses. Nine varied stations adorn the 2-kilometer circular trail. It leads along the mill canal and through the forest. The trail can also becan be accessed with a stroller.

SUMMER SLEDGING & MINI GOLF MITTERTEICH
Der Freizeithugl in Großbüchlberg bei Mitterteich sorgt für reichlich Unterhaltung für die gesamte Familie. Während einer Runde Minigolf und/ oder Pit Pat kann ein jeder seine Geschicklichkeit unter Beweis stellen. Viel Geschwindigkeit erleben Besucher auf der Sommerrodelbahn mit ihrer 760 Meter langen Bergabfahrt und 14 Riesenkurven. Neben dem Rodeln ist auch das Jumpen auf einen der Bungee- und Netztrampolins empfehlenswert. Die Anlage verfügt über ein Restaurant.

WALDNAABAUE MITTERTEICH ADVENTURE WORLD
The newly created forest adventure trail on the Sterzer circular trail is a delightful world of experience in the pond landscape around Mitterteich. Forest management and forest adventures await hikers of all ages at twelve stations: a foot-tactile trail, mushrooms and caves, a family bike course, a moss pond, a climbing course, a fitness meeting point, and much more. Individual wooden figures crafted with a chainsaw are located along the trail.

OSTRICH FARM MITTERHOF WALDSASSEN
There's plenty to discover at Gut Mitterhof near the Lourdes Grotto in Waldsassen: The full-sized ostriches Aamun, Hitchcock, Saba, Nahla, Zendaya, Ashanti, Imani, and Aminata can be admired in the pasture. There are two roosters and six hens. There are many other animals to discover on the farm: llamas, alpacas, donkeys, miniature horses, and goats.
The farm café serves coffee and homemade cakes every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM. In the farm shop, you can purchase ostrich products: ostrich feathers and eggs, meat, egg liqueur, ostrich fat, leather products, hand-spun wool, and much more.
From April to October, guided tours are offered regularly every second Sunday of the month at 2:00 p.m. A new addition to the program is the feeding of woolly and saddleback pigs, goats, rabbits, and many other animals.

WILDPARK WALDHAUS MEHLMEISEL
Lynx, raccoons, red deer, and other animals are best discovered on the circular trail through the Mehlmeisel Wildlife Park's outdoor animal enclosure! The absolute highlight is the approximately 3-meter-high walkway over the lynx and wild boar enclosure. Here, you can watch the wild boars cooling off in the small pond or the lynx climbing. And if you want to catch a glimpse of all the local animals, you should definitely visit the park during the daily feeding times at 2:00 p.m., and during the summer months, also at 4:30 p.m. Even the nocturnal animals usually don't miss the delicious food!
Before entering the wildlife park, the path leads through the Forest House. Here, the multimedia offerings provide the perfect introduction to an adventure tour. Various screens allow visitors to become explorers of the forest themselves.

FELSENLABYRINTH LUISENBURG
Don't miss the rock labyrinth in Luisenburg near Wunsiedel! The labyrinth is a sea of rocks made up of enormous granite boulders and is also a national geosite. It's the largest of its kind in Europe. The specially designed circular trail through the enormous boulders, caves, and gorges demonstrates the uniqueness and uniqueness of this natural spectacle created by man and nature. Wander through the crevices and let yourself be captivated by the over 300 million-year-old granite rock.
Rest areas and numerous viewpoints invite you to linger and enjoy. The mystical, enchanted rock labyrinth now attracts over 100,000 visitors annually. Next door is another record: Germany's oldest open-air stage offers fantastic entertainment during the summer months!

ALPACA HIKES & FARM TOURS
Hiking with alpacas is pure relaxation. The animals have no pressing appointments or deadlines, and they are accordingly relaxed. Hiking with an alpaca may not be the most strenuous activity, and it will probably never become an Olympic sport, but the entertainment value is all the greater! The animals' appearance, their sounds, and the way they explore their environment ensure a permanent grin for their human companions.

HORSEBACK RIDING, CARRIAGE RIDES & PONY RIDES
Our child-friendly riding stables offer various day rides and pony rides through the Steinwald region.If you wish, you can also spend riding holidays at some farms or use the horse boarding facilities with paddock access.
Groups can also book a carriage ride through the Stone Forest.
