Hikers and interested parties can obtain the DWV hiking guide certificate in a two-week course at the Steinwaldhalle Friedenfels. The course will take place from July 13 to 18, 2022, and from August 17 to 22, 2022. The training and instruction will be led by Dr. Gerhard Ermischer, President of the Bavarian Hiking Association. In addition to members of hiking clubs, other interested individuals can participate.

Participation requirements:

• at least 18 years or older
• physical fitness iFv sufficient condition for a day tour
• Proof of participation in a first aid course that was completed no more than three years ago

The cost of the two-part course is €720.00 for members of a regional club of the German Hiking Association and €960.00 for non-members.
