Cross-country skiing

The 50-kilometer-long cross-country ski trail system in the Steinwald provides a winter sports balance. Cross-country skiers can choose from short and long, strenuous and leisurely, busy and secluded trails. But no matter where your path leads, the routes will always lead you to the right destination! Your ride on the floodlit night trails in Pfaben and Friedenfels will be almost romantic. The cross-country ski trail network is maintained by the Steinwaldloipe cooperative.
